Virtual Assistant - Accounts Receivable and Collections - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support our accounts receivable and client collections processes.

In Short

• Manage accounts receivable by tracking payment statuses and monitoring aging reports.
• Send timely reminders to clients via email or portal.
• Conduct follow-up phone calls to clients with overdue balances.
• Handle client inquiries related to invoices, payment terms, and due dates.
• Maintain accurate logs of communication and follow-ups.
• Update accounting systems or spreadsheets as needed.
• Escalate unresolved issues to internal staff when necessary.
• Provide general bookkeeping support on occasion.
• Strong English communication skills are essential.
• Attention to detail and strong follow-through required.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or administrative support.
• Familiarity with U.S. accounting practices preferred.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero is highly desirable.
• Background in client billing or collections is an advantage.
• Prior experience working remotely or as a virtual assistant is a plus.
