Overview

As a Game Designer at Aesir Interactive, you will be the bridge between abstract design concepts and tangible gameplay, ensuring that gameplay systems are fun, scalable, and efficiently implemented.

• Rapid Prototyping: Bringing mechanics to life using UE5 Blueprints.
• System Implementation: Translating design docs into functional game systems.
• UI/UX: Designing and scripting the technical backend of menus and HUDs.
• Input & Feel: Refining character control and camera behaviours.
• Validated Documentation: Creating and maintaining design documents.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Game Design.
• A strong portfolio showcasing design work for PC/console titles.
• Experience shipping at least one commercial game title.
• Proficiency with design and rapid prototyping tools like Figma.
• Advanced proficiency in UE5 and understanding of Blueprints.
• Solid understanding of UX principles and user-centred design practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
