Overview

As a 2D Artist at Aesir Interactive, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of our games by creating high-quality 2D assets and visual concepts that captivate players.

In Short

• Create high-quality 2D artwork including concept art, character designs, and UI elements.
• Collaborate closely with Art Directors, Game Designers, and Technical Artists.
• Design mood boards and style guides for visual development.
• Iterate on feedback and adapt designs to meet gameplay needs.
• Prepare promotional artwork and marketing materials.
• Maintain a consistent visual style across all 2D elements.
• Support the development of visual direction and mood boards.
• Contribute to art pipelines and tools refinement.
• Provide feedback and assist with art reviews.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of 2D art styles required.

Requirements

• Degree in Art, Design, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong portfolio showcasing 2D art styles and concept art.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools.
• Good communication skills in English; German is a plus.
• Understanding of color, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Team-oriented and proactive working style.
• Experience with UI/UX design principles is a plus.
• Familiarity with 3D workflows and game engines is beneficial.
