Senior Electrical Engineer - Remote

Overview

AECOM is seeking a highly motivated part time fully remote senior electrical engineer with an instrumentation & controls (I&C) background to work anywhere in the United States, supporting mining projects for the Denver office.

In Short

• Leadership in Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) engineering and design.
• Technical expert in I&C with experience in heavy industrial infrastructure.
• Oversight of I&C engineering engagements and project scope items.
• Lead technology strategy for instrumentation and control systems in mining.
• Client liaison and technical guidance for project deliverables.
• Conduct quality control reviews and develop construction cost estimates.
• Adapt and modify engineering techniques and procedures as needed.
• Work independently and complete multiple technical tasks under tight deadlines.
• Communicate effectively in a team environment.
• Participate in interdisciplinary project reviews and deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering or related fields.
• Valid driver's license.
• PE license preferred in certain states.
• Strong communication skills and adaptability to diverse environments.
• On-site field experience in commissioning and start-ups.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software.
• Ability to manage task budgets and schedules.
• Experience in I&C design and construction documentation.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
