Overview

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Cisco network consultant to design, implement, and optimize complex network security solutions, ensuring robust protection and seamless connectivity for clients.

In Short

• Design and architect network security solutions using Cisco technologies.
• Lead deployment and management of Cisco routing and optical transport systems.
• Collaborate with teams to assess security needs and recommend measures.
• Conduct network and security assessments with actionable recommendations.
• Ensure continuous monitoring of security systems and respond to incidents.
• Provide consulting on Cisco Identity Services engine with dual factor authentication.
• Develop and maintain documentation for network security architectures.
• Provide expert guidance to clients and internal teams on Cisco-related issues.
• Stay informed with developments in network security and Cisco products.
• Participate in client meetings, articulating technical concepts clearly.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field plus 8 years of experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Professional experience in design and configuration of network security.
• Advanced certifications such as CCIE Security or CCNP Security are preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Cisco Identity Services Engine and Duo Security.
• Experience designing security solutions for enterprise-level environments.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and security technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud security integration with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001 and GDPR.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
