Security Consultant - Remote

Overview

The role involves offering expert consulting services for DigiCert's security products and solutions, catering to a diverse, global client base across AMS (primary), EMEA, and APAC regions. The consultant will work during primary hours based on US Eastern Time, with the flexibility to extend support across different time zones to meet the needs of customers in EMEA and APAC.

In Short

• Integrate DigiCert security products and solutions with IT systems.
• Exhibit a proactive security mindset and apply industry best practices.
• Demonstrate a deep technical understanding of DigiCert security products.
• Participate in pre-sales meetings to understand customer needs.
• Deploy & configure DigiCert security products and solutions.
• Develop comprehensive documentation related to implementations.
• Assist clients in troubleshooting issues related to DigiCert products.
• Capture feature request input from prospects/customers.
• Effectively manage projects through planning and reporting.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on PKI and digital trust issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in integrating IT systems and solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Management, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity.
• Fluent in writing and speaking English.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in deploying and configuring applications on cloud providers.
• Strong understanding of core cloud computing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform.
• Strong understanding of Git and experience managing code through GitHub.
• Familiarity with security protocols such as SSL/TLS.
