Overview

AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee environmental permitting projects for energy clients, specifically in the Offshore Wind market, as part of the East Region Environmental Planning & Permitting practice.

In Short

• Manage and administer staff and projects.
• Perform consulting projects to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams for offshore wind energy projects.
• Interface with clients and regulatory personnel.
• Enforce a culture of high-quality work and safety.
• Provide technical support to the EPP Department.
• Mentor junior and mid-level staff.
• Conduct client visits and field activities.
• Develop business strategy and proposals.
• Collaborate with other AECOM offices and practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field + 8 years of experience.
• Experience managing projects and teams.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• US Citizenship required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in environmental consulting and OSW market.
• Strong technical and regulatory policy background.
• Experience with stakeholder negotiations.
• PMP or project management certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
