Overview

AECOM is seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to oversee Federal environmental investigation and remediation projects, working remotely within the New England area or from specific AECOM offices.

In Short

  • Manage and direct professional and technical staff.
  • Experience with CERCLA projects and federal facilities.
  • Manage RI/FS, Remedial Design, and Five Year Reviews.
  • Regular client interaction on technical, cost, and schedule topics.
  • Manage project invoicing and cash flow.
  • Expertise in project scheduling.
  • Analyze financial statements and track budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Prepare work plans and organize project studies.
  • Supervise junior and mid-level staff.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • 5+ years of experience as a project manager.
  • Professional License (PE, PG) in New England states preferred.
  • 10+ years in environmental remediation project management.
  • Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations.
  • Thorough knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA processes.
  • Superior communication and reporting skills.
  • Experience preparing proposals and cost estimates.
  • Interest in business development.
