Overview

AECOM is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee Federal environmental investigation and remediation projects, with the option to work remotely or from the Atlanta, GA office.

In Short

  • Manage and direct professional and technical staff on complex environmental projects.
  • Experience with CERCLA projects and federal facilities.
  • Manage RI/FS, Remedial Design, and Five Year Reviews.
  • Regular client interaction regarding technical, cost, and schedule topics.
  • Familiar with project invoicing and cash flow management.
  • Expertise in project scheduling.
  • Analyze financial statements and track budgets.
  • Conduct analyses to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee preparation of work plans and organize project studies.
  • Supervise junior and mid-level staff during project phases.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • 5+ years of experience as a project manager preferred.
  • Professional License (PE, PG) in New England states preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in environmental remediation project management preferred.
  • Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations.
  • Knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA processes.
  • Superior communication and reporting skills.
  • Experience preparing proposals and cost estimates.
  • Interest in business development.
