Project Manager - Environmental Remediation - Remote

Overview

AECOM is actively seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager for employment in our Omaha, NE office. This position will support the Environmental business line, primarily overseeing Federal environmental remediation projects. For the right candidate, this position may be remote.

In Short

• Manage and direct professional and technical staff to complete complex environmental projects.
• Lead teams utilizing advanced scientific principles and practices.
• Develop technical solutions to complex problems.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Analyze financial statements and complete budget tracking.
• Oversee the preparation of work plans and organize project studies.
• Supervise junior and mid-level staff during all phases of project work.
• Conduct reviews and provide staff feedback for improvement.
• Perform complex assignments requiring unique solutions.
• Occasional overnight travel required.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field with +6 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Professional License (PE, PG, PMP, CHMM, or similar) preferred.
• 10+ years’ experience in environmental remediation project management.
• Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations.
• Thorough knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in team management and scheduling.
• Interest in business development.
