Overview

AECOM is seeking a Sediment Remediation Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience in environmental engineering and sediment remediation. This role is ideal for an engineer who has foundational experience in sediment remediation projects and is looking to further develop their technical and project management skills.

In Short

  • Assist in conducting sediment site investigations, including field data collection.
  • Support the development of sediment remediation plans under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and regulatory documents required for CERCLA compliance.
  • Help coordinate fieldwork and other project activities to support sediment remediation efforts.
  • Provide updates to clients and regulatory agencies regarding project status.
  • Support the development and implementation of Health and Safety Plans for field projects.
  • Assist with post-remediation site monitoring and prepare monitoring reports.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or higher in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in environmental engineering or sediment remediation.
  • Knowledge of sediment remediation technologies.
  • Familiarity with CERCLA and other environmental regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to support project management tasks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
