Overview

AECOM is seeking a talented Project Manager to oversee Federal environmental remediation projects, with the possibility of remote work.

In Short

• Manage and direct professional and technical staff for environmental projects.
• Oversee project invoicing and cash flow management.
• Utilize scientific principles to develop technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Analyze financial statements and track budgets.
• Prepare work plans and organize project studies.
• Supervise junior and mid-level staff.
• Conduct reviews and provide feedback for improvement.
• Lead teams in executing environmental investigations and remedial actions.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Preferred: Professional License (PE, PG, PMP, CHMM).
• 10+ years’ experience in environmental remediation project management.
• Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience with regulatory negotiations and Federal clients.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Experience in preparing proposals and cost estimates.
• Interest in business development.
• Strong communication skills for diverse audiences.
