Overview

AECOM is seeking an experienced Permitting Specialist/Environmental Planner for environmental review projects within the Transportation Business Line, focusing on major infrastructure projects in New Jersey.

In Short

  • Assist in preparation of NEPA and EO 215 environmental documents.
  • Develop Federal, State, and local environmental permit applications.
  • Conduct wetland delineations and species surveys.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with GIS mapping and data development.
  • Familiarity with New Jersey environmental laws.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with linear development projects is a plus.
  • MicroStation or AutoCAD proficiency is a plus.
