Design Manager, Data Centers - Remote

Overview

AECOM is seeking a talented and experienced Design Manager to oversee a variety of colocation and hyper-scale data center projects, providing flexibility of a remote work schedule.

In Short

• Lead data center due diligence and design teams.
• Manage projects from site due diligence to construction administration.
• Develop and enforce multi-site project management plans.
• Host meetings with clients and stakeholders.
• Communicate project updates and resolve issues.
• Develop technical and financial proposals.
• Build relationships with client stakeholders.
• Occasional travel may be required for client meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 10 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred: Master’s degree and Professional Engineer license.
• 12 years of experience in data center design management.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Team leadership skills and ability to work independently.
