Overview

The Web Developer focuses on the development, maintenance, and optimization of ATA’s WordPress websites, collaborating with designers and content teams to create user-friendly and high-performing websites.

In Short

Develop, maintain and design WordPress websites.
Implement and customize themes and plugins.
Update content and structure based on feedback.
Optimize websites for speed and performance.
Ensure security and compliance of websites.
Conduct performance tests and implement improvements.
Provide technical support for website issues.
Collaborate with IT and staff for website reliability.
Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in computer science or related field.
3+ years of experience in web development.
Proven experience in WordPress development.
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, SOAP, and Bootstrap.
Experience with deployment tools like Git and WPEngine.
Experience troubleshooting websites.
Knowledge of web security best practices.
Experience with SEO and web analytics tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
