Accountant - I - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Treasury & Cash Disbursement Analyst to join our team on a 3-month temporary assignment. This role will serve as a key point of contact for sector customers and Corporate Treasury, ensuring smooth cash and disbursement operations.

In Short

• Act as the primary liaison between sector customers and the corporate treasury regarding cash and disbursement application processes.
• Coordinate cash management requirements with Corporate Treasury, Enterprise Systems Group, and external banking providers.
• Process ACH, checks, domestic and international wire payments, transfers, and fund foreign bank accounts.
• Utilize SAP to review bank activities and reconcile cash accounts.
• Support month-end closing activities.
• Assist with setting up and executing international payments.
• Contribute to the development, implementation, and optimization of automated financial systems and processes.
• Support special projects as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong leadership, communication (verbal and written), and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
