Packaging Engineer - Remote

Adept Group is seeking a Packaging Engineer to add to our team, offering an award-winning workplace for exceptional packaging industry talent.

In Short

• 3+ years of full packaging development experience within the Food & Beverage industry.
• Experience with frozen food cartons, flexible films, thermoform packaging, corrugate, and stretch wrap.
• Familiarity with Spec/PLM systems.
• This is a 1099 Contractor opportunity for 3 months at 40 hours per week.
• Some travel to Portsmouth, NH, Virginia, and/or Nova Scotia may be required.
• Support Packaging Specialist with spec uploads and validations in GSM system.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, Regulatory, and Product Development teams.
• Strong attention to detail for accuracy.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for plant support.
• Not eligible for company-sponsored benefits.

Requirements

• 3-7 years of packaging engineering experience.
• Food & Beverage industry experience.
• Materials expertise: Frozen food cartons, flexible films, thermoform packaging, corrugate, and stretch wrap.
• Familiarity with PLM and ERP systems.
• Ability to quickly learn company-specific processes and workflows.
• Strong attention to detail for accuracy.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for plant support.
