Overview

The Accounting Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing financial operations, supporting the management in daily organizational tasks related to invoices, taxes, and more, while ensuring accuracy and orderliness.

In Short

• Responsible for operational accounting including dunning and invoicing.
• Book ongoing business transactions in DATEV and monitor payment transactions.
• Support in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Close collaboration with management and external tax office.

Requirements

• Completed commercial training, e.g., as a tax clerk or certified accountant.
• Several years of experience in financial accounting, ideally in payroll accounting as well.
• Very good knowledge of DATEV and MS Office or Google Workspace.
• Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken.
• Structured, detail-oriented, and reliable work style with a passion for numbers and organized processes.
• Team player who enjoys interacting with colleagues.
