Overview

Active Theory is seeking a backend developer and DevOps hybrid to help build out the underlying tech infrastructure behind our Dreamwave events platform.

In Short

Work on backend development primarily in Node.js.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including frontend developers and designers.
Develop backend components for various projects.
Manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
Support live events and ensure server resources are optimized.
Learn and build upon the Medusa backend framework.
Work independently on small to medium projects.
Plan technical approaches for custom integrations.
Communicate effectively while working remotely.
3 years of experience in developing secure web applications.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in Node.js.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Firebase services.
Familiarity with multiplayer and asynchronous concepts.
Ability to design and implement database schemas.
Strong communication skills for remote work.
Ability to manage projects independently.
