Overview

As a Jr. Beauty Product Development Manager, you will play a key role in researching, conceptualizing, and managing product development from ideation to launch. You must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable about industry trends, ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently and aligned with brand objectives.

In Short

  • Research & Trend Analysis – Stay up-to-date with beauty industry trends, competitor products, consumer demands, and innovations to support new product ideation.
  • Product Development Support – Assist in formulation, ingredient sourcing, and packaging selection, ensuring products meet brand and market expectations.
  • Project Coordination – Work closely with the company owner, suppliers, and manufacturers to track development timelines and maintain clear communication.
  • Documentation & Compliance – Ensure all necessary product documentation, testing, and regulatory requirements are completed and well-organized.
  • Sampling & Testing – Coordinate and evaluate lab samples, provide feedback, and support product refinement.
  • Creative & Marketing Collaboration – Work with design and marketing teams to align product development with branding, storytelling, and market positioning.
  • Process Improvement – Identify efficiencies in development workflows, ensuring timely execution and seamless coordination across teams.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of beauty industry trends and product development processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in project management is a plus.
