Overview

At Acker, we create unique experiences around food and inspire children and adults for healthy nutrition and sustainability. By 2030, every child in Germany should have the opportunity to experience the entire cycle of food cultivation with their own hands during their time in kindergarten or school. Our key multipliers are aspiring teachers and educators. Together with you as a Senior Program Manager, we want to bring knowledge about the importance of nutrition and sustainability education to universities and technical colleges, thus making significant progress towards our goal of 'every child by 2030'.

In Short

• You will take over the operational program coordination for our educational programs CampusAckerdemie and FachschulAckerdemie and further develop them with a clear vision.
• You will ensure that schedules, budgets, and goals are met as the project lead, while identifying new funding potentials in collaboration with partners.
• You will align standards, processes, and user journeys with the expert teams to make our educational offerings more efficient and impactful.
• You will work closely with internal experts and ensure the integration of our young programs into established processes of other educational offerings.
• You are committed to our vision and want to contribute significantly to a sustainable change in the education system.
• Your previous experiences in managing complex projects are more important than your specific educational background.
• You are comfortable with both strategic planning and operational implementation.
• You enjoy working independently and driving topics forward while collaborating with various expert teams.
• You possess strong interpersonal skills and can empathize with others.
• You are entrepreneurial, courageous, and decisive, eager to bring your ideas to the table.

Requirements

• Experience with publicly funded projects is a plus.
• Willingness to conduct on-site visits at existing and potential implementation locations.
• Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with digital tools.
• Strong communication skills and a positive demeanor.
• Ability to navigate challenges and opportunities in project management.
