Cleared Senior User Interaction / Experience Designer - Remote

Overview

As a Cleared Senior User Interaction / Experience Designer at Accenture Federal Services, you will help the US federal government enhance its operations and improve the lives of its citizens through innovative design and technology.

In Short

• Conduct stakeholder interviews and user/task analysis.
• Lead UI/UX design activities including wireframes and prototypes.
• Facilitate usability testing and iterative design sessions.
• Develop UI mockups and proof-of-concept interfaces using Figma.
• Design and code user interfaces with HTML5, CSS/Sass, and JavaScript.
• Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure technical feasibility.
• Communicate design rationale and specifications to stakeholders.
• Use GitLab for version control and development tasks.
• Support ongoing design improvements through user feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 8+ years in front-end development or UI/UX roles.
• 3+ years using Figma and Angular.
• Experience with government 508 compliance.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and front-end technologies.
• Familiarity with GitLab and command-line workflows.
• Experience in usability testing and user research.
• Ability to create original graphic assets.
• Experience coding and implementing web applications.
• Strong communication skills.
