Overview

The Agriculture Technical Assistance Specialist will support a network of farmers in the Central/Southern Appalachian region, focusing on regenerative agriculture practices and providing technical assistance.

• Work with farmers on practice selection and technical assistance.

Requirements

• Experience in USDA conservation programs.
• Knowledge of regenerative agriculture practices.
• Strong communication skills via phone and email.
• Experience with database management tools like Airtable.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Experience in farmer technical assistance preferred.
• Flexibility to travel within the service area.
• Strong organizational skills.
