The Ohio Distance and Electronic Learning Academy is seeking teachers to create a rigorous and nurturing classroom environment that prioritizes student learning and social-emotional development in a virtual setting.

Requirements

• Current Ohio teaching license
• Knowledge of State and Common Core Standards
• Preferred two years’ teaching experience
• Comfort in a coaching environment
• High quality written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage confidential information
• Ability to supervise students in various settings
• Pass federal and state background checks
• Experience in a multi-cultural setting preferred
