Senior Financial Analyst - Remote

Overview

Absolute is seeking an experienced, energetic, analytical-minded person looking to continue their professional development within a fast-paced Global Finance Team. Reporting into the AVP, Finance, this role involves work at the corporate level, analyzing data to provide executives with the information needed to make informed business decisions.

In Short

• Develop, analyze, and interpret financial and operating results and information.
• Analyze departmental results to forecast and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for senior executive leaders.
• Prepare annual budgets and quarterly/monthly forecasts.
• Support financial evaluations of new products and operating models.
• Collaborate with analysts and managers to coordinate data use.
• Develop financial tools for departmental cost visibility.
• Act as the super-user of the cloud-based forecasting system.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis for presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in corporate finance or consulting in Software/SaaS.
• Strong skills in financial and strategic planning, budgeting, and reporting.
• Excellent analytical, modeling, and communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
• Ability to respond and prioritize effectively while meeting deadlines.
