Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure - Remote

Overview

Abnormal Security is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Cloud Infrastructure team. This team is responsible for Abnormal’s presence in the public cloud and ensuring our use of the cloud is secure, reliable, and repeatable while meeting the needs of our engineering team.

In Short

• Work with AWS, Azure, and other cloud providers.
• Use DevOps principles in your work.
• Ensure efficient use of public cloud technologies.
• Build systems for managing the public cloud using Python and/or Golang.
• Provide guidance to internal engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years experience operating public cloud environments.
• 5+ years experience with Linux systems and networking.
• Programming experience in Python or Golang.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
