Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program (BHCHP) has been dedicated to providing equitable and dignified access to high-quality health care for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in greater Boston since 1985. Each year, BHCHP serves over 10,000 homeless individuals, offering a comprehensive range of health care services, from preventative dental care to cancer treatment. The organization is committed to transformational work that emphasizes dignity, compassion, and mutual respect, while actively addressing systemic barriers, including racism. With a focus on community-based health care, BHCHP's multidisciplinary team works across more than 30 locations to ensure that vulnerable populations receive the care they need, incorporating social determinants of health into their approach.
