Overview

The Registered Nurse - Home Therapy Dialysis is responsible for providing and coordinating clinically competent care for patients undergoing home dialysis treatments.

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day.
• Accountable for patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Delegates tasks to direct patient care staff.
• Participates in quality improvement and education projects.
• Trains patients and home partners on dialysis equipment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR BLS Certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience.
• Ability to lift and move patients and equipment.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Experience in home dialysis preferred.
• Must meet practice requirements in the state of employment.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and education.
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
