Overview

We are looking for an ambitious working student in Software Engineering (Backend or Fullstack) to strengthen our growing tech team. 1KOMMA5° is building Germany's largest one-stop shop for sales, installation, and services related to solar energy, heat pumps, electricity, and charging infrastructure. In Short

• Work as part of a cross-functional team in the B2B sector.
• Implement backend or fullstack solutions for our customers.
• Optimize our Heartbeat App and backend services.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers.
• Evaluate, implement, and deliver software solutions for key customer-oriented products.
• Maintain business-critical applications.
• Foster an experimental and innovative culture within the team.
• Improve customer satisfaction through continuous reduction of technical effort.
• Work with various technologies, including Ruby and React.
• Opportunity to work remotely (within Germany).

Requirements

• Enrolled at a university and able to work 20 hours per week.
• Studying computer science or a related field.
• Experience in writing backend services with Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or TypeScript.
• Experience with React, Next.js, and Flutter is a plus.
• Passionate about writing maintainable, documented, reusable, and testable code.
• Agile and solution-oriented mindset, team player.
• Very good English skills, German is a plus.
