Senior Engineer, Data Acquisition - Remote

Overview

Zus is a shared health data platform designed to accelerate healthcare data interoperability by providing easy-to-use patient data via API, embedded components, and direct EHR integrations. We are seeking a senior engineer to join our Data Acquisition (DA) team to help build tools that interact with external health data networks and make that data useful for users of the Zus platform.

In Short

• Build complex data pipelines
• Build microservices connecting to third party APIs
• Provide technical leadership, contributing to the architecture and design of the teams systems
• Coach others to become better engineers
• Partner with product managers and other Zusers
• Work on data pipelines that operate on large scale data using AWS services
• Work on RESTful services used both internally and externally
• Experience with operationally stable and cost efficient data pipelines
• Enjoy collaboration and solving unique problems
• Willing to travel for in-person collaboration occasionally

Requirements

• Experience building backend software in any language (Go preferred)
• Experience with deployment technologies and cloud providers
• Excited to enable a true digital revolution in healthcare
• Thrive amid the changing landscape of a growing startup
• Knowledgeable about application security
• Experienced in working with healthcare data and APIs
• Familiar with the FHIR and/or TEFCA standards
