Accounts Payable Accountant (all genders) - Remote

Overview

As an Accounts Payable Accountant at zooplus, you will play a crucial role in managing incoming invoices and ensuring compliance with tax regulations, contributing to the financial health of Europe’s leading online pet platform.

In Short

• Review incoming invoices according to tax regulations
• Process invoices independently in SAP S/4 HANA
• Maintain and reconcile supplier accounts
• Manage electronic accounts payable inbox
• Prepare weekly payment runs
• Maintain and validate supplier master data
• Monthly creation of voucher invoices for business partners
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
• Assist with internal donation requests and accounting
• Handle additional tasks such as travel expense accounting

Requirements

• Relevant experience in accounts payable accounting
• Completed commercial training (e.g., tax clerk, industrial clerk, or business economist)
• Good knowledge of Excel and other Office programs
• SAP S/4 HANA knowledge is an advantage
• Proficient in German and English, both written and spoken
• A true team player with a responsible working style
• Strong communication skills and initiative
