Senior DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Azure DevOps Engineer with experience supporting software delivery in Life Sciences, Clinical Research, or regulated domains. You’ll take ownership of Azure infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and environment provisioning, with a forward view toward containerization, compliance, and hybrid cloud optimization.

In Short

• Design, build, and maintain Azure Pipelines for reliable, multi-stage deployments.
• Implement security gates, test automation, artifact versioning, and rollback mechanisms.
• Configure and manage Azure Virtual Machines and SQL Managed Instances.
• Monitor availability, performance, and cost-efficiency of compute and data services.
• Manage version control, permissions, and branching strategies in Azure Repos.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and compliance teams in a secure SDLC process.
• 5+ years of experience managing Azure Resources.
• Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Expert programming skills using C# and .NET technologies.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (nice to have).
• Advanced English Level (C1) with experience working with US teams.
• Experience and expertise in creating bash scripts.
• Experience with Kubernetes, GitOps, Fluxcd, ArgosCD, and Terraform.
• Implement infrastructure as Code and dynamic environments.
• AWS S3 and Lambda experience (nice to have).
• Exposure to Azure Kubernetes Service, container registry, Helm (nice to have).
