Senior Environment Artist - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Environment Artist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping immersive and visually stunning game worlds, collaborating closely with designers, other artists, and technical teams.

In Short

• Initially a 12 month fixed term contract.
• Remote work available within the UK only.
• Maintaining a very high standard of modelling, texturing and PBR material creation.
• Crafting realistic, natural and hard surface, interior and exterior environments from white box.
• Working closely with other disciplines to ensure environments form believable game worlds.
• Ensure the style is in keeping with the overall art direction.
• Implementing correct file naming and directory structure requirements.
• Conducting research to inform environment development.
• Mentoring more junior members of the team.

Requirements

• Experience in environment art for games.
• Strong understanding of PBR workflows.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Excellent modeling and texturing skills.
• Experience with industry-standard software.
• Ability to conduct research for realistic environments.
• Strong communication skills.
