Principal Hydrogeologist - Remote

Overview

WSP’s Ground & Water team are involved with many key projects of regional and national significance. We are seeking an individual to act as a Principal Hydrogeologist for our technically challenging and complex projects.

In Short

• Managing projects or associated tasks and undertaking specialist/technical hydrogeological project work.
• Interacting with UK colleagues concerning business delivery and development.
• Managing and inputting to project proposals.
• Staff mentoring.
• Leading position in the clean water Hydrogeology Team.
• Working on major infrastructure, built development, and water resources/environment studies.
• Supporting international projects, predominantly in the Middle East.
• Choice to be based out of the office most conveniently located.
• Hybrid working basis.

Requirements

• Significant experience in Hydrogeology at a senior level.
• Professional registration/chartered status with a relevant industry body.
• UK hydrogeological experience is essential.
• Experience in major linear infrastructure scheme projects.
• Experience in water resources/environment projects.
• Experience in complex hydrogeological investigations.
• Experience managing projects with significant groundwater resources.
• Team player characteristics.
• Experience in mentoring and developing staff.
• Good communication/reporting skills.
