Litigation Attorney - Remote

Overview

The Litigation Attorney will manage a portfolio of non-performing real estate collateralized commercial loans and REO, working in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment.

In Short

• Manage and monitor a non-performing loan portfolio.
• Conduct proactive portfolio management in accordance with performance standards.
• Monitor litigation, bankruptcy, and foreclosure activities.
• Work with in-house and outside attorneys and collection agencies.
• Negotiate and prepare settlement agreements.
• Prepare bidding instructions and loss mitigation decisions.
• Maintain delinquency and loss mitigation reporting.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of debtors' financial positions.
• Facilitate negotiation and conflict resolution.
• Assist in budget preparation for the Asset Resolution Department.

Requirements

• Excellent oral and written command of the English language.
• Experience in litigation and portfolio management.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of real estate and commercial loan processes.
• Ability to work with attorneys and collection agencies.
• Experience in loss mitigation strategies.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in reporting and trend analysis.
