Overview

The Patient Transport Associate is responsible for moving patients to various locations throughout the hospital, ensuring their comfort and safety during transit.

• Transport patients to various locations in the hospital.
• Assist patients in moving into wheelchairs or stretchers.
• Monitor scheduling system for transport requests.
• Deliver laboratory specimens, medical equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during transport.
• Work on weekends with a schedule of 07:00 am - 03:30 pm.
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service and medical settings preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently.
• Strong communication and time management skills required.

Requirements

• 0-1 year of customer service experience required.
• 0-1 year of experience in a medical office/hospital preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting.
