Clinical Research Coordinator - Radiation Oncology - Remote

Overview

The Shih Lab is seeking an ambitious Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to join our team, bridging the gap between current standard of care and future treatment modalities in Radiation Oncology.

In Short

• Join a multidisciplinary research group in the Department of Radiation Oncology.
• Lead projects involving neuromodulating brain circuitry for substance use disorders.
• Handle rodents and perform protocol-specific procedures.
• Administer scheduled substances to rats and work with radioactive materials.
• Maintain a database of study records in accordance with guidelines.
• Assist with data analysis and interpretation.
• Collaborate with skilled colleagues and assist with participant recruitment.
• Serve as a point of contact for research participants.
• Regular weekend work is required.
• Opportunities for growth and leading retrospective studies.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Previous animal handling experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Inquisitive and driven with a positive attitude.
• Organizational and analytical skills.
• Technical computer skills (Microsoft Office, Epic, MATLAB, Python preferred).
