Intermediate Bookkeeper - Remote (Philippines)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-focused Bookkeeper to join our remote team, working with Australian clients and supporting our accounting team with end-to-end bookkeeping.

In Short

• Full-cycle bookkeeping using Xero
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Data entry from bank feeds and source documents
• Accounts payable and receivable management
• Preparation of IAS and BAS
• Journal entries and month-end adjustments
• Assisting with payroll and STP filings
• Supporting software migration from MYOB to Xero
• Contributing to improved workflows and documentation
• General admin support and ad hoc reconciliations

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in Australian public practice
• Strong knowledge of Australian bookkeeping standards
• Confident with Xero; MYOB and QuickBooks knowledge is a bonus
• High attention to detail and ability to self-manage
• Clear, friendly communication skills
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Comfortable working remotely
• Able to handle multiple client files
