Lead Fixed Asset Accountant - Remote

Overview

As a Lead Fixed Asset Accountant, you will be responsible for Fixed Asset operations, including monitoring Capital Improvement Projects, managing asset capitalization, retirements, and transfers, and leading month-end closing in the US.

In Short

• In charge of Fixed Asset operations including CIP monitoring and FA capitalization.
• Post FA accruals and perform Monthly Subledger Close.
• Prepare Roll forward reports and Accounts Reconciliation monthly and quarterly.
• Ensure compliance with SOX and KPMG Audit requirements.
• Coordinate actual physical disposal of fixed assets.
• Perform annual FA physical count and reporting.
• Prepare inter and intra-company asset transfers and documentation.
• Act as accounting resource for the monthly Capital Request review.
• Look for ways to standardize, streamline and improve processes.
• Prepare and provide ad hoc reports and requests from customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in the Fixed Asset function.
• Strong familiarity with financial software and ERP systems, particularly Oracle Cloud or SAP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and fixed asset processes.
• Ability to develop relationships and work collaboratively.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
