Portuguese Creative UI and Marketing Linguist - Remote

Overview

We are looking for English into Portuguese translators to join our growing team for one of our global clients, a music streaming company with various important entertainment services such as music streaming, podcasts, etc. They will take ownership of the incoming work on this account and will actively contribute to the success of the program.

• Translate and review content from English into Portuguese.
• Content types include informational, legal, marketing, product, and support.
• Minimum 2 years' experience required.
• Proficient in marketing, product, legal, and informational content.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Portuguese is essential.
• Native fluency in target language required.
• Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
• Able to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
• Technical and creative knowledge is a plus.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience translating and reviewing content.
• Proficient in various translation and terminology tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in Portuguese.
• Native fluency in target language.
• Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
• Able to follow instructions, e.g., character restrictions.
• Able to communicate effectively the rationale behind their transcreation skills.
• Technical (UI, CS) and creative (synopses, episodic titles) knowledge.
