Overview

As a German and English to Uzbek Linguist at Welocalize, you will support translation and quality control for medical devices, ensuring high-quality translations that meet industry standards.

In Short

• Translate and/or post-edit content from German and English into Uzbek.
• Perform Non-Linguistic Quality Control checks.
• Handle content types including In Vitro Diagnostics, Pharmacovigilance, and Patient-facing documents.
• Deliver consistent output of 1,000–2,000 weighted words per week.

Requirements

• Proven translation or MTPE experience in Life Sciences / Medical Devices.
• Native-level proficiency in Uzbek.
• Excellent command of English and German.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of CRO terminology.
• Experience with CAT tools (required).
