Accounting Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Accounting Analyst position focuses on customer revenue and margins, assisting the accounting and finance departments in producing reliable margin analysis and reporting.

In Short

• Analyze revenue and costs along with balance sheet roll forwards.
• Collaborate with the accounting department to evaluate income and spending.
• Investigate anomalies in customer margins and spending trends.
• Provide necessary reports for decision makers.
• Prepare account analyses, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Assist with monthly reviews across multiple time zones.
• Support month-end close processes and related analyses.
• Understand intercompany transactions and ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Assist with audits and preparation of financial statements.
• Implement internal controls.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
• Knowledge of Workday FIN is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a global multi-currency environment.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPS.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of general ledger and accrual accounting.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to change.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
