Overview

As a Telepharmacy Technician at CVS Health, you will play a critical role in managing daily pharmacy operations and ensuring patient safety while delivering exceptional customer service.

In Short

  • Responsible for daily pharmacy operations under pharmacist oversight.
  • Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
  • Contribute to positive patient experiences.
  • Manage inventory activities and maintain target inventory levels.
  • Serve as a peer mentor for new hires.
  • Complete training and comply with pharmacy regulations.
  • Assist with immunizations and patient health services.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Be flexible with scheduling and travel to other locations as needed.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
  • National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) required.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and mathematical reasoning abilities.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Compliance with state pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Experience in a pharmacy or customer service setting preferred.
