Overview

The Care Management Associate supports comprehensive coordination of healthcare services through telephonic outreach to and enrollment of eligible Medicaid members, ensuring effective utilization of healthcare services.

In Short

  • Engage with Medicaid members via telephone to address their healthcare needs.
  • Facilitate case assignments and connect members to care managers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of member interactions.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years’ experience in the healthcare field.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with basic medical terminology preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Outgoing and enthusiastic presence over the phone.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
  • Ability to work under compliance and regulatory guidelines.
  • Effective organizational skills.
