Digital Designer - Web - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Jr. Web Designer to assist with production design work, enabling our senior designers to focus on strategic tasks. This role involves creating web experiences for multiple university partners.

In Short

• Contract/Freelance position
• 15 hours per week
• Initial 3-month contract with potential for extension
• Flexible schedule, preferably afternoons 2-3 days/week
• Production design is 75% of the role
• Work with a collaborative creative team
• Handle web updates and maintenance
• Proficiency in design software required
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge needed
• Report to Creative Director and participate in team meetings

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong design skills with a good eye for layout
• Experience with web design best practices
• Portfolio of professional design work
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and WordPress
• Understanding of responsive design principles
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work autonomously
• Quick learner adaptable to different brand standards
• Experience with project management tools preferred
