UI Designer - Remote

Overview

Here at Wargaming Belgrade we are looking for a UI Designer to strengthen the World of Warships: Legends META team. The interface that players see during and after the battle is our responsibility, and we are doing our best to perfect it. You will be able to dive in and apply both your knowledge and experience to create exciting gameplay and customization features that will be used by tens of thousands of players around the world.

World of Warships: Legends is being developed by an international team of talented developers driven by their passion for video games; their combined efforts resulting in Legends becoming a unique cross-platform naval MMO, available both on consoles and - somewhat recently - mobile devices.

In Short

• Communicate, discuss, and defend your ideas during brainstorms and feedback sessions with the team members and stakeholders
• Create concepts for core and meta in-game interactions and lead them from the first tiny sketch to the final implementation
• Design screen layouts and interactive UX flows of varied complexity and prepare documentation for their subsequent implementation
• Sketch and polish UI arts, support current UI library
• Analyze existing interfaces and define the focal points of further improvements
• Receive feedback and review work of your fellow designers
• Assign and manage tasks for copywriters and 2D artists to create content required for UI
• Design animation and effects, prepare requirements for UI developers and FX designers

Requirements

• Passion and talent
• Experience as a UX/UI designer in a product company
• Desire to achieve quality in everything and grow professionally
• Ability to work within system limitations
• Teamwork skills
• Confident design tool operation
• Understanding of HTML/CSS layout principles
• Ability to express and communicate your ideas to stakeholders and team members
• Intermediate or higher level of English

Work mode

Onsite during probation period, after probation hybrid mode (3 days from office, 2 days from home).
