Natural Gas Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Natural Gas Engineer to join our ICE Team to improve infrastructure in our Michigan offices. The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related engineering field) and have seven to fifteen years of similar work experience.

In Short

• Design detailed gas distribution systems
• Design medium, standard, high pressure steel and plastic gas mains and services
• Vertical and horizontal alignment creation
• Design regulator stations/districts
• Compression station design experience is a plus
• Horizontal directional drill (HDD) modeling is a plus
• Prepare installation drawings and specifications/notes
• Coordinate preparation of specifications and permit submittals
• Assist with/review scope, budget, and schedule of new project tasks
• Monitor task budget and progress

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related engineering field) is required.
• 7-15 years of experience in natural gas distribution systems/design is required.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
• Michigan natural gas utility experience is preferred.
• Professional Engineer License preferred.
