Overview

The Junior Project Engineer and Grid Connection Manager will act as a technical contact for battery storage projects, coordinating between various stakeholders and managing the technical execution planning.

In Short

• Act as the technical contact for battery storage projects.
• Manage the electrical execution planning.
• Coordinate activities related to grid connection searches.
• Support project acquisition and monitor regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with grid operators and negotiate innovative grid connection scenarios.
• Be the expert on measurement, protection, and control concepts.
• Optimize the technical and economic marketability.
• Coordinate processes and planning while evaluating generation and storage values.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably in Energy Technology, or equivalent technical training.
• Strong interest in renewable energies with practical experience in the field.
• Knowledge in electrical planning for storage, solar, and hybrid projects.
• Good understanding of regulations for grid connections for large producers/consumers.
• Familiarity with relevant VDE standards and FGW guidelines.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Responsible and customer-oriented approach.
• Fluent in German.
