• Manage database administration for critical SAP environments.
• Install, configure, and apply patches to databases.
• Implement direct-path database upgrades.
• Schedule backup jobs tailored to application requirements.
• Perform database backup and recovery.
• Ensure database monitoring setup and configuration.
• Provide emergency production system support.
• Communicate planned changes or outages to application owners.
• Adhere to compliance policies and procedures.
• Provide active schema lists and execute service requests.

Requirements

• Experience working with SAP systems on Oracle database infrastructure.
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in SAP environment.
• 5 - 8+ years of experience with Oracle.
• Expert in Database Administration and Oracle installations.
• Experience in backup & recovery and database cloning.
• Expert in Oracle performance & tuning.
• Experience with Linux shell scripting.
• Must be willing to work 100% remotely.
• U.S. citizenship required due to government contract.
