Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Remote

Overview

VSO is seeking a senior engineer with deep expertise in storage platforms, SAN fabric design, backup/restore architecture, DR orchestration, and advanced troubleshooting across the entire stack.

In Short

• Design, manage, and optimize SAN arrays and storage systems.
• Architect and troubleshoot replication, deduplication, snapshots, and DR failover processes.
• Lead firmware/OS upgrades for SAN and compute hosts.
• Own Avamar/Data Domain environment health and restore performance.
• Act as final escalation for server and cloud platform incidents.
• Create complex runbooks for disaster recovery and storage provisioning.
• Participate in service health reviews and performance analytics.
• Lead root-cause analysis and produce technical reports.
• Mentor L1/L2 engineers.

Requirements

• 7 - 9 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient with NetApp, Pure storage, Infinidat, VMware VSAN, Ansible.
• U.S. citizenship required.
